Christmas Bird Count Snowy Owl!

During the month of December we participate in the Christmas Bird Counts (CBC) that take place on the North Shore.  Each year we bird the Salisbury and Magnolia Sectors.  

 

Yesterday, while birding the Magnolia Sector, we were so very lucky to see a Snowy Owl.  This was the first time in umpteen years that Mark, our friend Denise, and I have had Snowy Owl in this sector!  

While we saw many other great birds, this Snowy Owl was simply awesome in its awesomeness!
